Star Wars Resistance was announced months ago, but we are just now getting a peek at what the actual characters will look like.
You may notice Poe Dameron and Captain Phasma in the photo.
The show is said to be about Kazuda Xiono, who is "a young pilot recruited by the Resistance whose mission is to spy on the growing threat of the First Order."
The rumor is that Star Wars Resistance will launch on Disney XD in October.
Comic Book Creator and Icon Steve Ditko has died.
He was a co-creator of Spider-man and Doctor Strange with Stan Lee.
No cause of death has been announced.
He was 90.

Deadpool 2: Uncut Will Screen at San Diego Comic-Con.
San Diego Comic-Con has released it's schedule.
One of the items is something called Deadpool 2: Uncut.
It is rumored to be an extended cut of Deadpool 2.
San Diego’s Horton Grand Theatre will get the honor at 10pm on July 21st, shortly after the Deadpool 2 panel.

Keri Russell Joins Star Wars Episode IX.
Star Wars Episode IX goes into production in just a few weeks with J.J. Abrams back in charge.
Abrams worked with Russell in the hit series Felicity as well as directed her in Mission: Impossible III.
Variety reports that this will be a “action-heavy” role involving fight scenes.
Star Wars: Episode IX hits theaters on December 20, 2019.

Stan Lee Drops $1B Lawsuit Against POW Entertainment for "Stealing" His Name and Likeness.
The nerd icon and comic book creator previously claimed that he was tricked into signing over his name and likeness.
Stan Lee has dropped the $1 billion lawsuit just short of two months after it was filed.
“The whole thing has been confusing to everyone, including myself and the fans, but I am now happy to be surrounded by those who want the best for me," Lee said in a statement. "I am thrilled to put the lawsuit behind me, get back to business with my friends and colleagues at POW, and launch the next wave of amazing characters and stories!”

Between Lucasfilm attacking fans, Solo being way below box office predictions, and the rumor that stand alone films might be put on hold, Star Wars fans are in a desperate need for good news.
After being rumored for months, it can now be confirmed, Billy Dee Williams will indeed be returning as Lando Calrissian for Star Wars Episode IX.
The Hollywood Reporter released this scoop, but with no added details.

Kevin Smith Partners With Rivit TV on Comedy Pilot ‘Hollyweed’
Kevin Smith's fans to get his 'green' comedy greenlit!
The show is called “Hollyweed” and was first made in 2016.
Rivit TV however may bring it to life with the power of fandom.
Fans can watch the piolet for free, but then decide if they pay for the show to continue.
Is there anyone more connected to their fans then Kevin Smith?
“Two years ago we shot a pilot for a show called ‘Hollyweed’ and tried to take it out the traditional way but had no luck,” Smith said. “Cut to now, and we get to bring it back to life. Thanks to the good folks at Rivit TV, we raised it from the dead, it’s crazy. Rivit TV was smart enough to take this show and leave it up to my fans.”
“Hollyweed” will be the first pilot for Rivit TV’s new concept and is now available at the rivittv.com.
It's also Smith's first major speaking role, so he is not playing 'Silent Bob' here.

Mystery Marvel Movie Gets New Release Date
Marvel has always been very clear about what movies were going to be released next.
They have always told us well in advance what shows could be found and where we could find them.
They communicate with fans better than most.
But no one knows about Phase 4m.
However if you look at the nine nine spots on the release date calendar, one of the untitled movies just got a new release date.
Now this is just speculation, but a July 30, 2021 movie has just been moved up to February 12, 2021.
Phase 4 kicks off next year with Spider-Man: Far From Home on July 5, 2019.

This is two days after the lawsuit against Pow (Purveyors of Wonder) was dropped.

The Game Of Thrones cast was given disappearing scripts.
The battle against spoilers has been brought to a new level.
Cast members were not even given physical scripts.
Scripts were instead given through an app and would disappear after they had a chance to memorize their lines.

Although Lucasfilm continues to attack fans for the continued fall of the Star Wars franchise, a highly respected director and producer had some wise advice.
James Mangold (3:10 to Yuma, Wolverine) recently tweeted, “Let movies be free, the same way comics’ve been. Superman didn’t look the same in 1952 as they did in 78 or 99. Encourage filmmakers to follow passion/story over universe building which is just a way to hook you for more dollars. Nolan never could have made Batman Begins if making a sequel.”

They claim that Robocop Returns will not be a re-boot, but a sequel to the original Robocop movie.

Marvel’s ‘Black Widow’ Movie Lands Director Cate Shortland.
Despite recent controversy, Scarlett Johansson will still star in the new Black Widow movie.
They met with 70 potential filmmakers before choosing Cate Shortland as director.
while this will be her biggest production so far, Marvel has a history of finding lesser known directors, and making them huge.
There is no release date because Marvel is tight lipped about anything after Avengers 4.
