Anyone older than 30 that watched the first season of The Toys That Made Us, was left craving for more.
Season two was released in May,and we all turned into Claudia from Interview with a Vampire.

Netflix has not only responded with what will make up season three, but let us know that this is no longer the original 8 part special.

Writer-Director Jon Schnepp has died.
Known for Space Ghost Coast to Coast, Metalocalypse, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and many more, Jon's death is a huge loss.
He died from complications of a stroke.
He was 51.

I Mark Carras, the host of Nerds Drink Whiskey, have watched the new Kevin Smith show Hollyweed!
Although I have never indulged in the green and sticky, I found the show to be hilarious!
The soundtrack might have been slightly annoying, but the show is so funny that I didn't care.
This is the best new comedy in a very long time.

Pressure is being aimed at Disney for James Gunn being fired.
You might have heard that James Gunn was fired from the Guardians Of The Galaxy 3 movie for something said about a decade ago.
Many in Hollywood have come out to not just support him, but point out that being fired after trying to be a better person is a bad direction to go.
Actress Selma Blair urged Disney to "RE-HIRE JAMES GUNN" and encouraged her followers to sign a Change.org petition in support of him.
As of Monday, nearly 200,000 people had signed the petition.
Others voicing support are Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Chris Pratt, and Rick And Morty co-creator Justin Roiland.
Comedian/actor Patton Oswalt took aim at far-right social media personality Mike Cernovich, who is credited with digging up Gunn's old comments.
"This is one of the LESS disgusting tweets from Mike Cernovich, the dude who, after running a Gamergate-style smear campaign, just got James Gunn fired from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3.," Oswalt said in a retweet of what looked to be a tweet from Cernovich about date rape.

Robert De Niro might join Joaquin Phoenix in movie.
Joker would be the iconic actors first comic book movie.
The Hollywood Reporter stated Monday that De Niro would play a talk show host for the film set in Gotham City in the 1980s.
Joker is set to start shooting later in the year and is due out Oct. 4, 2019.
Mark Hamill was not dressed as ‘Orange Vader.’
Mark Hamill used a Jedi mind trick on us all.
During the hype of Comic-Con, Hamill retweeted someone using the handle 'Brendan Bajillioz' who thought Hamill was the one dressed as what he called 'Orange Vader.'
Hamill followed up about 19 hours later with "Breaking News: FANS SLAM SHAM-HAM SCAM- Actor Mark Hamill says it was all in good fun & simply a joke meant to playfully mind-trick his fans. He claims (without proof) most people enjoyed his massive San Diego Comic Con-Job!"

The Mary Sue has an interesting take on the latest Buffy news.
In case you didn't hear, Buffy The Vampire Slayer is being re-booted.
This time with an African-American actress in the iconic role, a female African-American showrunner in charge, and some asking some very important questions.
The writer points out that "Unless original work from creators of color gets made, it’ll never belong to that community."
She follows that with "It’d be better if it were spinoff series with a black Slayer—which could still turn out to be the case, with the show still in early development—because then, at least, she could be her own person, but even that doesn’t have the same benefits as something wholly original."
Although we don't entirely agree with everything said in the article, it is very much worth reading.

Zachary Quinto Confirms R-Rating For Quentin Tarantino’s Star Trek Movie.
Zachary Quinto recently talked to USA Today and had this to say:
We’re waiting on specifics. I’m thrilled that we might have the opportunity to work with [Tarantino] and see what he would do with us in this universe. It’s going to be an R-rated version of Star Trek, which would be the first (in) the movies, and that’s exciting. I’ve been a fan of his for years, and I’m really inspired by his originality. Take that originality and mix it with this world full of incredible ideology and colorful characters, and the result could be pretty thrilling.

Bobcat Goldthwait lashes out at Disney!
In response to James Gunn being fired, Bobcat Goldthwait asked Disney To Remove His Voice From an upcoming Park Attraction.
“I would hate for you to come off as hypocritical so I’m suggesting you remove my voice from the attraction that’s coming to your park. It’s called WORLD OF COLOR – VILLAINOUS, and I reprise the role of Pain, a role I played in HERCULES,” Goldthwait writes. “You see here’s the deal, years ago I made a lot of sarcastically shocking and offensive jokes. Many that I’m embarrassed about now, and I’d hate to make you guys look bad seeing that I’m openly critical of the president and his administration, and you seem to be taking your lead from some of his radical fringe supporters.”
I think this is the most classy thing Bobcat Goldthwait has ever done!
So they have decided to do a re-boot of Buffy The Vampire Slayer eh?
Most fans are already preparing to hate this.
Since they have also announced that they want an African American lead, we know what the result will be.
Just like with the Ghostbusters re-boot, The Last Jedi, and a few other incidents, they will call you racist and sexist if you say that it sucks.
But I think I have a way to make everyone happy.

Let's do a deep dive on the backstory of Kendra Young and her Watcher Sam Zabuto?
Then maybe mix in some flashbacks of Nikki Wood as well.

The actor recently opened up about Booster Gold at San Diego Comic-Con, and while he isn't actively campaigning for the role, he thinks he'd be great at it.

Rick and Morty creator Dan Harmon apologizes for Distasteful Video.
The resurfaced video involved the assault of children as part of a scheme to stop serial killers by traveling back in time.
“In 2009, I made a ‘pilot’ which strove to parody the series ‘Dexter’ and only succeeded in offending,” Harmon said in a statement obtained by Variety. “I quickly realized the content was way too distasteful and took the video down immediately. Nobody should ever have to see what you saw and for that, I sincerely apologize.”

Jay and Silent Bob Reboot Aiming for November Start Date.
At San Diego Comic-Con, Kevin Smith gave an update to the Jay and Silent Bob Reboot movie.
The movie starts shooting in November.
In the film Jay and Silent Bob learn that the superhero movie Bluntman and Chronic is about to be re-booted.
So they go on an adventure to stop the movie from being made.

I don't care how much you hate the Disney era of Star Wars, harassing the cast is wrong.
The actress Kelly Marie Tran left social media because internet trolls kept attacking her.
But true Star Wars fans made sure she felt some love, by cosplaying her character Rose Tico from The Last Jedi.

Marvel’s new Infinity Wars series is building towards a major villain reveal.
Infinity Wars Prime #1 was released this week.

Will Mara Jade be in Star Wars 9?
Timothy Zahn created the character Mara Jade, but has not heard anything about Mara Jade being in Star Wars: Episode IX.
When Disney bought Lucasfilm in 2012, the Expanded Universe was re-branded as Legends.
Many Legends characters have made it back to canon however.
Fans have been passionately begging Lucasfilm to bring Mara Jade to canon again.
In an interview with the Talking Bay 94 podcast, the author said he's unaware if Mara Jade is in the Episode IX screenplay. However, he would be interested in seeing the character make the leap from Legends to canon, as long as it was the right fit.

Will International Drinkers Will Save bourbon from a Bust?
According to the Distilled Spirits Council, more than 23 million cases of American whiskey were sold in 2017, much of it bourbon, bringing over $3 billion in revenue for distillers.
Times have not always been so good.
In the late 1970s and through the early 2000s, when limited-edition bottles and cult favorite Pappy van Winkle burst onto the scene, bourbon was overshadowed by vodka’s immense popularity.
The industry’s ace in the hole could be exports.
“Despite the renaissance the category has enjoyed, bourbon is still underdeveloped globally versus other whiskey categories like Scotch,” Rob Mason, vice president of whiskies marketing at Beam Suntory, says.
“Globally, the total market for Scotch and American whiskey is $6.7 billion,” Heaven Hill’s master distiller Denny Potter says.
“In today’s market, Scotch accounts for an 82 percent share of those sales. If American whiskey moved the needle just 10 percent, exports would exceed $2 billion. Compare that to domestic American whiskey sales of $4 billion.”
For political and logistical reasons, 2018 could be a challenging time to bring a distinctly American spirit to international markets.

New Buffy showrunner walks back the term reboot?
showrunner Monica Owusu-Breen made an interesting post to Twitter yesterday.
For some genre writers it’s Star Wars.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer is my Star Wars.
Before I became a writer, I was a fan. For seven seasons, I watched Buffy Summers grow up, find love, kill that love. I watched her fight, and struggle and slay.
There is only one Buffy. One Xander, one Willow, Giles, Cordelia, Oz, Tara, Kendra, Faith, Spike, Angel... They can’t be replaced. Joss Whedon’s brilliant and beautiful series can’t be replicated. I wouldn’t try to.
But here we are, twenty years later.
And the world seems a lot scarier.
So maybe, it could be time to meet a new Slayer.
And that’s all I can say.
Could we still get a origin story of Kendra Young?
